OUR STORY
We knew from the beginning what we wanted to create. In an imposing natural landscape like that of Krania in the Mount Olympus, the life lesson was more than obvious: balance and simplicity.
As we unfold the memories of our childhood, there is always a reference to the sensory experiences of the mountain and the fruits of the forest. The Cornelian cherries were part of family jokes, a reason to go out with friends, a skill exercise as we were watching grown-ups gathering the best fruits. For us, the kids, it was valuable to participate in the creation of a special jam. For grown-ups, it was the exciting taste of the liqueur that left no one indifferent.
Life usually has the power of return, the perfection of a cycle. We come back with the power to continue the course around that old goal.
After extensive research and travels to countries where cornelian cherries are cherished and cultivated as a living part of tradition, we let knowledge and experience guide us to the varieties that would give voice to our vision. Each selection was made with a focus on their unique characteristics and harmonious flavors.
Thus, the first model cornelian cherry orchard of unique biodiversity in Greece was created. We bring our vision to life, crafting exquisite flavors while carefully attending to every detail of the fruit’s cultivation and transformation into premium-quality “FOREST FLAVORS” products.
